{A Pastel Yellow and Daisy Newborn Session}
There’s something incredibly special about being invited back into the lives of clients whose journeys I’ve witnessed from the very start. Last week, I had the absolute joy of photographing baby Hallie whose parents I first met at their engagement session 3 years ago. Watching these two get married to now growing their family, and knowing I get to capture these tender, fleeting moments feels nothing short of a gift! Lauryn’s calm and relaxing spirit was so beautiful to witness throughout the entire session. You could see clearly see in these photos how naturally she embraces motherhood, carrying a quiet strength and grace that radiates in every moment with Hallie. It’s obvious that motherhood suits her perfectly.
Hallie had me working a little extra harder during her session as I think she was a bit uncomfortable with gas pains. Nevertheless, she gave me some precious smiles towards the end of the shoot. The session provided some of those tiny, perfect moments that make you sigh…pouty lips, sleepy yawns, and a warm connection shared between Hallie and her parents. It was a reminder that if you look closely, you can see the magic that lives in the quiet rhythms of life’s earliest days.
Having first celebrated Lauryn and Matt’s love on their wedding day, it’s incredibly meaningful to me to now document this beautiful chapter of their story! I’m in awe of how much love surrounds this little family and how wonderfully Lauryn is embracing her new role. It’s clear she’s pouring her heart into every moment, every snuggle, and every whispered word. Thank you for trusting me to capture these precious memories and allowing me to be a part of this special season!
