{A Mauve and Purple Newborn Session}
Welcoming baby Ella into the studio was the sweetest completion to a story I’ve been fortunate enough to witness for years. As the third and final baby in the Nelson family, Ella joins a crew that already adores her beyond measure. I’ve had the privilege of photographing all three Nelson babies through their first-year milestones, and there is something so special about watching a family grow one chapter at a time. Being invited back again and again to document these moments is a gift I never take for granted.
One of my favorite parts of Ella’s session was simply watching her older brother and sister interact with her. The way they looked at their new baby sister and the gentle way they cared for her made it so clear just how loved she already is. Those sibling connections are some of my favorite moments to capture because they tell such an important part of the story.
For Ella’s newborn session, we chose a beautiful palette of purples and mauves. The soft, rich tones complemented her perfectly and looked absolutely stunning against her complexion and hair color. Sessions like this always leave me feeling incredibly grateful. Not just for the photographs, but for the relationships built along the way. Watching families grow, seeing siblings become big brothers and sisters, and getting a front-row seat to these milestones is one of the greatest joys of my job!
Baby Ella, you are already surrounded by so much love! Thank you, Nelson family, for trusting me once again to document another beautiful chapter of your story! It has truly been an honor to watch your family grow.
