{A Green Newborn Girl Session}
From the moment little Maggie arrived for her session, I could already tell she had a sweet mix of personality and preference. She loved being completely wrapped and snug, and the moment she was swaddled tight, she settled right in, as cozy as could be. It took some patience and gentle coaxing to keep her comfortable, but that’s one of my favorite parts of newborn sessions…meeting each baby exactly where they are and working at their pace. And Maggie made every bit of that patience feel more than worth it.
I’ve had the joy of photographing her big sisters for almost five years now, so seeing them step confidently into their new roles as big sisters was such a heart-melting moment. Their tenderness with her, the pride in their smiles, and the way they hovered nearby told the whole story: Maggie is already adored beyond measure. And with how much she resembles both of them, there was no denying she belongs right in the middle of this beautiful trio.
We styled her session with gorgeous greens, a color that suited her perfectly. Once she was wrapped, she melted into the setups, giving us the sweetest, most peaceful images. Even on a fussier day, Maggie delivered all the charm.
Sessions like this remind me why I cherish following families through the years. Watching these little ones grow, seeing their personalities unfold, and being invited back again and again…I know I say this all the time but, it’s truly, truly one of the greatest honors of my job. This family is so dear to me, and baby Maggie was the softest, sweetest new addition to their beautiful crew.
Maggie, you are already so loved. And to the Lundgren family…thank you for trusting me with another milestone in your story. It means more than I can say.
