The Backstory
Born on my mama’s 19th birthday in small-town Humboldt, lowa, I grew up in a whirlwind of moves across lowa, Arizona, and Florida. I was wildly creative, camera in hand since age 12, and obsessed with dolphins. Sounds like the typical 90’s child grew up to be a photographer, right?! HA! Life finally settled in Bode, lowa, where I graduated high school and fell in love with my high school sweetheart, Joe. We tied the knot in 2009 after graduating college!
How it Started
In 2012, armed with both photography and graphic design degrees, I made the bold decision to bring CB Studio to storefront. I spent 5 years in beautiful downtown West Bend, lowa and eventually moved to Algona in hopes of capturing more hearts. Along the way, Joe and I built our forever home (mostly by ourselves!), proving that with hard work and a little bit of crazy passion, anyone can achieve any dream.
What Keeps Me Going
After years of infertility struggles, we finally welcomed our daughter, Liella, in 2015. Then, in 2018, life became even wilder with the arrival of our twins, Eden and Oren! Chaos? Absolutely. But this beautiful, messy, joy-filled life is exactly what we were meant for, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

What I’m All About
I love taking beautiful images, but I know there’s more to my purpose than just taking photos. For me, it’s about using what I love—and the talents God has given me—to serve others. I’m passionate about capturing authentic and raw emotions that show what it means to be human. My clients deserve something tangible that reflects the love and joy they share among each other and I know I am put on this earth to provide that. I honestly believe the time I spend with my clients is something special. My purpose is to celebrate vulnerability, tell meaningful stories, and highlight just how important every little moment really is.
