{A Grass Pasture Engagement Session}
Emily and Spencer have known each other for most of their lives, thanks to their moms being best friends, but it wasn’t until after high school that they really began to notice each other in a different way. And honestly, knowing that little piece of their story makes this special season feel even sweeter.
Emily and Spencer are such a simple, genuine couple in the very best sense. Nothing feels forced with them. They’re calm, comfortable, and so clearly in love. The kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to be deeply felt. One of my favorite things throughout their session was watching the way Spencer looks at Emily. It’s soft and intentional and honestly feels like something straight out of a fairytale. His eyes say everything without saying a single word.
These two traveled over an hour for their engagement session in our pasture, and somehow the weather worked perfectly in our favor. Storms surrounded us most of the evening, but thankfully held off until just after we finished. Between the soft grass, cool breeze, and the beautiful connection these two share, the entire session felt incredibly peaceful. Sessions like this always remind me that the most meaningful images usually come from simply letting people be themselves together.
Emily and Spencer, thank you for making the drive and trusting me to capture this season for you! Your love is so genuine and easy to photograph, and I already know your wedding day this November is going to be so special!
