{An Early Spring Iowa Engagement Session}
The moment I pulled onto Cassie’s family farm, I knew this session was going to be something truly special! Cassie invited me out to her multi-generational family farm for their engagement session, and it truly could not have been more beautiful! Rolling hills stretched in every direction, with a peaceful pond, flowing streams, a winding river, and endless rows of evergreen trees creating the most romantic spring backdrop. It was quiet, meaningful, and full of history…honestly, a photographer’s dream in every sense!
But what made this session even more special wasn’t just the setting, it was what it represents.
Cassie and Ryan met on Tinder, and their story has grown into something so genuine and grounded. When it came time for Ryan to propose, he knew exactly what would matter most to Cassie. He worked with her grandpa to plan the moment and chose a spot that holds so much meaning to her, right in front of her favorite tractor, with her family there to witness it all. Knowing how important family is to Cassie, it couldn’t have been more thoughtful or perfectly planned!
Spending time with these two, it’s so clear how kind, welcoming, and humble they both are. They have such an easy way about them…nothing forced, nothing overdone…just a steady, genuine connection that makes being around them feel comfortable and natural. It’s sessions like this that remind me what an honor it truly is to be invited into these moments. To step into places that hold deep meaning, to hear the stories behind them, and to capture a glimpse of a couple’s life as it is right now…it never feels ordinary.
Cassie and Ryan, thank you for trusting me with your story and for welcoming me into such a special place. Your session was not only beautiful, but incredibly meaningful, and I cannot wait to celebrate you both on your wedding day! 🤍
