{A Wedding Catering Tasting Event at Columbia Events Center | Algona, Iowa}

It’s another year of Kampen’s Catering Tasting Event, and every year I am just as thrilled as the last to be invited to document it! If you haven’t heard me yet shout from the rooftops how much I love this event, then you are in for a treat! But mostly, I love singing the praises of these amazing women owned businesses and the incredible services they offer their clients!

This annual event is exclusively invite only for Kampen’s Catering wedding clients who are treated to a mock wedding reception at Columbia Events Center. During this one-of-a-kind event, wedding clients and up to 6 of their guests can try over 40 mouth-watering dishes offered by Kampen’s Catering, as well as, sample delicious cakes and cookies from Hailey B’s Bakery, listen to relaxing tunes provided by Mojo Productions and enjoy beautiful table decorations provided by Something Blue. Something Blue is new this year to the event and owner, Katie, went above and beyond with the decor by contacting each bride to take a peak at their Pinterest Boards. Her and her team then decorated each bride’s table according to their dream wedding tablescapes. Brides were able to get the full effect of what their wedding day could actually look and feel like! This completely free experience allows Kampen’s Catering wedding clients to choose their desired meal for their wedding day all while indulging in a wedding reception atmosphere! If the food isn’t enough to book with Kampen’s then this event seals the deal! (Spoiler Alert: the food and service is 100% enough to book with Kampen’s!) There is a reason Kampen’s Catering is highly sought after and have several repeat customers!

Kampen’s Catering Tasting Event is such a unique experience that I love being a part of! Owner, Tanna’s attention to details and commitment to incredible service is unmatched. The amazing dishes and client experience they offer really sets the bar high for many catering services in the area! I’m so honored they think of me every year to photograph the event!
