{A Recap of Our November}
We kicked off the month with a USD football game! My grandpa invited Oren and I to attend a game and we had a blast! Oren was in pure football heaven as we tailgated in the freezing temps, ate way too many snacks and cheered loudly for the red team. About halfway into the game an injury occurred on the field. Oren was so concerned about the player, he asked me several times throughout the game if he was ok. A little while later, I noticed the player was back on the field. I pointed it out to Oren and his worries finally diminished. His big, loving heart always melts mine into a puddle! Needless to say, we are planning to return next season!
After a busy start to the month, we finally got around to decorating the Christmas tree and photographing our annual Christmas pajama images. The kiddos are starting to complain about the teal pajamas I purchase every year (HAHA!), so I suppose next year I’ll have to get some pajamas they really want. That’s going to be hard for this matching-aesthetic girl, but ultimately, I want them to have fun creating lasting memories and traditions.
We ended the month with tons of family time, monthly cousin breakfast, Thanksgiving meals and more tree decorating, just to name a few. Liella loves to make crafts or draw pictures to give to others and Thanksgiving was her chance to give Papa and Great Grandpa McMahon her latest creation, American flag fused bead crafts. They, of course, loved them! Rounding out this blog post with one of my favorite holiday traditions, decorating grandma’s Christmas tree with cousins! Soon enough, all the kiddos will be too big to stand in front of the tree for a group photo. 🙁
Another month, and soon, another full year of creating the best memories I can for my kiddos! Until next month…
Oren says, “Go Yotes!”
