{A Recap of Our March}
We just finished March 2 days ago and I am coming in hot with a recap already! The beginning of the month spoiled us with fantastic weather so, naturally, we took advantage with some outdoor play! As I sit here in another cloudy, rainy day, it has me really counting down the days until good weather is more consistent. About a year ago, Joe bought an old blue and white Ford truck, and this winter he tore it apart, fixed some of the framework and was able to get the motor running. He recently got it all put back together and has been enjoying driving it a bit. I think I see a few photoshoots in this truck’s future! 😉
This slower season has us really enjoying our time together before the chaos of summer hits. Not pictured, we started a new project to build a roof over our front deck. This is a project we have been wanting to do since we built our house 10 years ago and are finally working in the time to get it done. We are just in the beginning stages of building, but I’m sure I’ll have more pictures to share in the future. Hopefully by summer we can fully enjoy it!
Easter weekend brought along all of our favorite traditions like dyeing eggs, a million egg hunts, tons of family time and tons of good food! It was a long and exhausting weekend but I absolutely LIVE for family time!! It’s one of my favorite things and I am so thankful we are able to get together every holiday. I know our kiddos treasure their cousin time and I whole heartily believe that one of the greatest legacies we can leave for our children is happy, fun memories. Yet again, another reason why I do what I do. <3
Until next month…
