{A Recap of Our February}

Februarys are notoriously a slow month for us and I mostly focus on soaking in every minute of it before the busy season begins. This year was no different but we still managed to have a ton of fun! No better way to kick off the month then with a cousin breakfast! Core memories being made here and I absolutely LOVE it! I hope these kiddos will want to attend this monthly breakfast for many more years to come. Also, a good excuse to drink mimosas on a Sunday morning! The middle of the month became a bit quite as Oren came down with a nasty virus that he battled for 10 days. It’s days like those that I am very thankful we have plenty of medication at home to help prevent a serious situation. At the end of the month, the girls were excited to participate in Algona’s Dance Team Spring Show and they were obsessed with the Barbie theme! I didn’t take any pictures of the routines but made sure to grab a couple of the two beforehand. The next morning it was off to Des Moines to celebrate cousin Evey’s birthday. Liella has been bugging me for MONTHS to get her ears pierced so, together with Eden and Evey, we created a little morning birthday event where all 3 were pierced together. The girls’ reactions was to be expected but no tears were had! That evening the celebrating continued with pizza and pop at Sky Zone. At the end of the night, I had to literally drag my children out of the building because they didn’t want to leave! Needless to say we may need to make another trip back to Sky Zone haha!
