{A John Deere Cake Smash Session}

Watch out world! Brooks is on the run! Quite, literally! At 12 months old, Brooks is already walking, or running rather, everywhere and it was hard to catch him or make him sit still for portraits. I can already see his personality growing and I know there is no shortage of dull moments for mom and dad. Brooks spent most of his fall riding around in tractors with dad. So it was only natural that we celebrate his birthday with a John Deere themed cake smash. He can even already say the work “tractor!” Such a smart and inquisitive little guy!

I’ve enjoyed this first year with Brooks! It’s such a joy to watch babies grow and document these important milestones. It’s also a little bittersweet watching them leave the studio for the last time. But it’s all worth it to create beautiful memories of such fleeting times. I hope to see you again sometime Buddy! Enjoy all my favorites from this adorable little stud!
