{A Neutral Sitter Session with a White/Pink Cake Smash}

Celebrating Sadie’s first birthday was so much fun! This pink and white cake smash session couldn’t have been any sweeter! From her curious little fingers diving into the frosting to that proud, frosting-covered grin that always makes me giggle behind the camera.

I’ve had the honor of photographing Sadie since she was just a newborn, and it’s been the best gift getting to watch her grow this past year! Going from those sleepy, squishy snuggles, straight to the wobbly, joy-filled steps of a one-year-old always seems to happen in the blink of an eye. And what makes it even more special is that I’ve had the privilege of capturing her big sister, Shae’s, milestones too. Watching these girls grow and seeing their little personalities bloom is such a reminder of how fast this season moves and how important it is to pause and preserve it.

Mama, I just have to say, you are doing an amazing job! I know some days it feels like chaos, like you’re holding everything together with a prayer and a cup of coffee (or a margarita 😉 ). But the love you pour into your girls shines so clearly. They are happy, loved, and thriving because of you! These moments, even the messy ones, are the heart of it all. And I hope when you look back on these photos, you see what I see: a mama doing it all with so much love, grace, and beauty (even when it doesn’t feel like it).
