{A Marriage Celebration at Gull Point State Park}
The day has come when we finally got to fully celebrate Ashlyn and Thad after their wedding ceremony last December at The Little Brown Church in Nashua!! Their reception took place at Gull Point State Park in the Milford/Okoboji area in a beautiful rustic lodge. So fitting for Ashlyn’s visions of a wildflower theme wedding. Since these two were already wed, the day was a little bit more relaxed. No ceremony to rush off to! Ashlyn finally experienced the full bridal getting ready portion of the day with her mom and her sister by her side. Afterwards, we moved right into portraits. I wanted to make sure we had plenty of time for this part of the day since our portrait time at The Little Brown Church was very short. Gull Point is such a beautiful park giving us tons of greenery landscaping plus lake beach views as well! A two in one backdrop! When it was time for the dance, Thad’s siblings and cousins brought the party! What a gift to have so many cousins close in age. Of course, I adore both families so much and feel so fortunate to have gotten to photograph both sides several times over the years. It was such an honor when they ask me to photograph their wedding! I loved capturing their day again and I hope you enjoy reliving their celebration through my eyes!!
