{A Camping/Woodland Theme Cake Smash Session}

Mason is ONE!!! And what a milestone that is for this little guy!!! Mason has been through SO MUCH in his short, little life of one year. He’s been hospitalized many times for a number of reasons; Covid, failure to thrive just to name a couple. Now that Mason is one, Mom and dad have finally found some answers to why he has been sick a lot. Mason has a Laryngeal Cleft, which means he has a small hole in his throat that allows food and liquids to pass through to his lungs. Such a unique situation but thankfully there is a fix through surgery, and soon, over time, Mason will be able to eat and live normally. But through it all, Mason is the happiest little buddy!! The way his blue eyes light up when he smiles will brighten any cloudy day! The way he fusses is also pretty hilarious! I just couldn’t stop laughing when he made his signature whimper face. I know that sounds terrible but mom and dad will totally understand! 😂 We celebrated his first year with cake and lots of laughs!

Mason–I can’t believe our time together is over! The first year is always the fastest. I’m praying for good results for your upcoming surgery and quick healing. You are such a tough little boy and this first year is only a testament to how strong you will grow to be. ❤️
