{A Recap of Our July 2021}

We started the month out right by camping in Okoboji for 4th of July weekend! I photographed a wedding at Lutheran Lakeside camp so we decided to spend the entire holiday at the lake! It was our camper’s maiden voyage and we had a BLAST! We swam at the beach (Oren was too afraid to get in the water), jumped at the bounce house and ate tons of s’mores by the campfire! The kids loved camping so much, they keep asking to go back! It’s definitely a goal of ours to schedule more camping trips!

Halfway through the month, I surprised Joe by booking a Airbnb cabin on the Mississippi River in Minnesota for just him and I! We fished all weekend long. The rustic cabin and the gorgeous views were perfect! It was such a peaceful and relaxing getaway which was so needed! BRIDES–If you’re looking for something different than your typical tropical honeymoon but still want to stay in the states, I HIGHLY recommend just booking an Airbnb! There are SO MANY fun and unique places to rent that would give you a one-of-a-kind experience for just the two of you! Honestly the possibilities are endless! If you haven’t yet, check it out!!

At the end of the month we got to spend some precious time with cousins who were staying with my parents for a week! Pool, park and the Grotto was at the top of the list for activities and these kiddos didn’t waste any time living their best lives! We soak up every chance we can with cousins!

July flew by so fast! We had so much fun making memories! I could never trade these days for anything! 🥰 Until next month…
