{A Fiesta Themed Cake Smash Session}

Tristan is one and he is walking, almost running, everywhere!! I’m so impressed with his balance and coordination at his age! He’s definitely a mover! Tristan is a little on the shy side though, so it takes some major effort to get some smiles out of him. But he always loves when I play peek-a-boo with him, jumping out from behind my softbox to surprise him. I’m also amazed at how well he is starting to copy sounds and words. I think he’ll be saying real words soon! We celebrated his very first birthday with a fiesta theme cake smash to honor his mama’s Mexican heritage and I LOVE how it all came together! I’ve always been fascinated by Mexican culture and I LOVE LOVE LOVE traditional Mexican dishes! Plus I have a weakness for margaritas! 😉 This sweet rainbow baby has been such an incredible blessing to the Thompson family. It always warms my heart when I get to be a part of such beautiful stories of journeys to parenthood.

That face though! Mom and dad say he makes that scrunchy nose face quite often! HAHA!
