{A 1 Year Birthday Session for the Coronavirus Pandemic Portrait Project}
My latest subject in the Coronavirus Pandemic Portrait Project, meet baby Scott Charmin! His beautiful cottonelle skin is angel soft! HAHA! On a more serious note, with this current Covid-19 pandemic I’ve had a number of reschedules and cancellations and this cake smash session is my latest that was rescheduled. With this week being Easter, I HAD to do an Easter themed cake smash! My hope is that it will be a reminder of God’s promise of new life and that light can shine in even the darkest of times.
After 3 weeks I have finally settled into this new “normal” life of working from home with 3 littles and trying to maintain my business in a very uncertain world. It definitely isn’t easy. But I am hopeful! On the bright side, I have been using my extra “free” time (if that’s what you want to call it haha!) brainstorming some really great, resourceful ideas for you, my clients! I know clothing is the number one stressor when it comes to planning your session so I have been working on some new and exciting ways to make it easy to pick out coordinating outfits! This is like nothing you have probably ever seen before with a photographer! I’m super thrilled about this project and I can’t wait to get the ball rolling!
As far as my day to day activities? We started potty training Eden and it has been really easy so far! Which is something I thought I would never say! But she is such a fast learner! About half way through the first day she had already started sitting on the potty by herself. By the second day I no longer needed to watch her like a hawk, she goes on her own when she needs to. Oren, on the other hand, is not even close to starting with the potty! Haha! But at least when this pandemic is over I will have one down! Best of all, the days have been getting nicer and we have been spending more time outside. I can’t wait to get in the garden again real soon!
May this project bring a little joy to your day!
