{A Neutral and Green Newborn Session}
Meeting baby Noah was such a joy from the very beginning! This little guy made the trip all the way from Minnesota for his session, and I couldn’t have been more honored to welcome him into the studio. From the moment he arrived, he brought the calmest, most peaceful presence with him. He settled right in like he knew exactly where he’s meant to be.
While his entrance into the world may have been a little more exciting than planned, you would never guess it now. Noah is the happiest, most content little sweetheart! He slept like a dream, gave us the softest expressions, and truly made the entire session feel effortless.
We styled his session with timeless neutrals and just a touch of green woven in…full of simple, organic tones. Nothing overpowering, just soft textures and gentle layers that allowed Noah to remain the true focus. I always believe newborn sessions should feel calm and natural, letting the baby’s tiny features and newness shine. Those little fingers, the curve of his cheeks, the way he curls his tiny toes…those details tell the story just as much as the wider images.
We also added the sweetest little personal touch to his session…a plush waffle tucked into a few images as a nod to his family’s last name and his adorable little nickname, Baby Waffles. It’s those tiny, meaningful details that I love incorporating whenever I can! They may seem small now, but years from now, that little waffle will tell part of Noah’s story in a way only his family truly understands.
And his parents…what a joy they are! Kind, steady, and so clearly in love with their baby boy! Watching them with Noah felt so natural, as if they had been waiting their whole lives for him. There’s something beautiful about seeing people step so confidently and tenderly into parenthood, and these two wear it so well.
To Noah’s sweet mama, you are already everything Noah needs. Your love, your gentleness, your instincts…they are more than enough. The way you look at him says it all. Trust yourself. You’ve got this, and he is so lucky to call you his mom!
Baby Noah, you are so deeply loved! What a privilege it was to document the very beginning of your story! Can’t wait to see what your first year will bring!
