Bridal Tasting Event | Algona, Iowa Wedding Photographer

Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing a tasting event! A first of it’s kind in our local communities and, I think, something that can greatly enhance the wedding planning process. I joined Kampen Foods & Catering alongside Simply Divine Weddings & Events and Mojo Productions at The Shores at Five Island in Emmetsburg to showcase everything these vendors have to offer at this exclusive event design just for their clients with upcoming weddings. The goal in mind was for couples to visually see, hear, taste and experience everything their wedding reception could be like. The ultimate reception dream team put together a beautifully decorated reception hall complete with bridal and sweetheart tables, a cake table, gorgeous centerpieces, great music and entertainment and, of course, the meal. A large spread was served with every cuisine Kampen Foods & Catering has to offer. Guest could try out what they had in mind for serving their wedding guests and if something else looked enticing they could try it as well, ultimately narrowing down what they will serve on the big day. The food was delicious and needless to say, all left with full and happy bellies! It was the perfect opportunity to ask questions and finalize details with all your wedding reception vendors in one place. I had a blast at this event meeting new people and I am truly excited to watch it grow!
