{TEAM 27 Vintage Car Lot/Gas Station Themed Session}

I’ve said it before, but these Senior TEAM days are always some of my favorite days of the entire year! There’s just something about spending an entire afternoon laughing and making memories together that fills my cup every single time! The Roadside Edit was no exception! A theme that as been on my mind for years, TEAM 27 fully brought my vintage car lot vision to realization and there is only one word I can say…OBSESSED!

The day began at WV Create Studios where the girls gathered around tables covered in patches and pins to design their own custom trucker hats. One of my favorite parts of the afternoon was watching each girl put her own spin on the project. No two hats looked alike, and somehow every single one perfectly reflected the personality behind it. It was such a fun way to kick off the day! Stay tuned to my social medias for more BTS of our fun hats!

From there, we made our way to Innovations Salon & Spa where the girls were treated to full glam hair and makeup before the excitement of our styled shoot.

Then it was time for The Roadside Edit.

Dressed in the cutest boho/grunge styles from Cultivate Family Boutique, the girls stepped into a setting that looked like it had been slowly worn away in time…an old roadside gas station surrounded by weathered trucks, vintage vehicles, and rustic details that couldn’t have been more perfect! Add in the dreamiest golden evening light, and it felt like we had stepped into a movie set!

What I loved most wasn’t just how incredible the girls looked…it was how completely they embraced the theme! They laughed together, encouraged one another, leaned into every creative idea, and brought so much confidence and personality to every single image. Watching them become more comfortable in front of the camera with each session has been so much fun! We wrapped up the evening the best way possible, with pizza at Flipside, girl talk, and soaking in a few more moments together before heading home.

TEAM 27, thank you for trusting me with another incredible adventure! Every one of you brings something unique to this group, and watching you all step out of your comfort zones with each session has been one of my greatest joys! I truly believe each of you has an exciting future ahead, and I feel incredibly grateful that I get to be a small part of this season of your lives! I can’t wait to see where this year takes us next!
