{A Downtown Algona and Yellow Flower Field Senior Session}
When Piper told me she was making the trip from Lake Mills to Algona for her senior photos, I knew it HAD to be the perfect night. It’s never lost on me what an honor it is when seniors travel long distances to be photographed by me…it’s a gift I don’t take lightly. We started the night out exploring what downtown had to offer before finishing in the gorgeous yellow flower fields at the nature center, in the height of their full bloom. I will never ever get tired of a flower field session!
Piper is an athlete through and through, with wrestling being her biggest passion, but she also loves swimming, hiking, and spending time outdoors. What really stood out to me, though, was her heart. Whether it’s time spent with friends, reading her Bible, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, Piper carries herself with a grounded, steady spirit that shines through in every photo.
One of the sweetest parts of her session was when her twin brother, Josiah, joined in for a few photos. The bond they share is special and reminded me so much of Eden and Oren. Watching them interact made me reflect on just how unique that twin connection really is. Eden and Oren have such a unique bond and as they are getting a little older, I notice it shifting a bit. My hope for them is that their relationship continues to deepen in the same way Piper and Josiah’s clearly has.
Piper, thank you for trusting me to capture this season for you! You’re such a beautiful soul inside and out, and I can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you! I have no doubt you’ll carry your strength, faith, and adventurous spirit with you wherever life takes you!
