{A Dusty Blue and Peach, Romantic Inspired Shoot Featuring a Stunning King’s Table}
Sarah, from Simply Divine Weddings & Events and The Shores at Five Island, and I have been dreaming of working on a styled shoot together since last winter and we finally made it happen! We teamed up with Gretchen, the marketing director for the city of Emmetsburg, and some incredible vendors all from the Emmetsburg area to make our visions come to life! The focus was on a color scheme that was soft, romantic and a little different than what The Shores is used to seeing. We went all out on a large king’s table as the focal point of the venue and it was STUNNING! Brides: if you’re looking for a reception showstopper, THIS IS IT! Sarah created pure magic with the blue tone linens, gold candlesticks and large eucalyptus garland flowing from on top of the table to the floor, draping around a beautiful candle display in front of the table. You would never believe that our models, Mike and Somer, had never met before this day! They were troopers putting up with my crazy request for them as strangers! After we photographed the reception setup, we headed out to the veranda and ceremony space which included a newly built arched draped in peach garden roses. Of course, if you’re getting married at The Shores, you absolutely have to have some portraits on the dock with the beautiful Five Island Lake in the background! I can’t think of a more gorgeous wedding venue in our area! The Shores makes all your bride (and photographer 😉) dreams come true!
