{“One Year Fluttered By” Cake Smash Session}

Lylah is officially ONE, and has officially won over my heart! Oh, let’s face it….she’s won over my heart since the day I met her, a year ago, at her newborn session! She is the 3rd blue-eyed Anderson babe that I have had the utmost pleasure photographing over the years, and is just as adorable as her older two siblings. This blue-eyed trio is a photographer’s DREAM!! They, all three, cooperate flawlessly and show their love for each other effortlessly. I can’t think of a bigger blessing when photographing littles.

One year fluttered by so quickly with Lylah and I’m OBSESSED with this cake smash theme! Lylah, on the other hand, maybe not so much! She had no interest in her cake or, rather, trying new flavors in general, especially sweets. Nevertheless, she looked absolutely adorable posing by her cake. I’m sure she’ll grow into that sweet tooth in no time!

Happy first birthday, Lylah! It’s been such a joy to watch you grow and explore this big, beautiful world with wide-eyed wonder…and your calming spirit has truly been a gift to capture. It’s also been so touching to witness the love you share with your sweet mama. You and your brother and sister will always hold such a special place in my heart. I’m so grateful for the memories we’ve created together and will genuinely miss seeing your sweet faces through my lens. Thank you for letting me be part of your family’s story…it’s been a true privilege.
