{A Wildflower, Butterfly and Bridgerton Inspired Senior Session}
Izzie has such a special place in our hearts as she has been our number 1 babysitter for the past few years and the kiddos absolutely love her! As our summer nanny, she has been spoiling our kids with the best summer ever! With endless park picnics, pool time and library craft dates, I don’t think our kiddos will ever want to go back to school! She truly has such a big heart for children! Not only that, she has the kindest soul, gorgeous red hair and striking blue eyes. Photographing Izzie is easy. Adoring her is even easier.
We kicked off her senior session in the studio with her flute and sheet music. Then, we strolled downtown where Izzie wore a floral dress featuring all of “her colors.” If you haven’t heard of House of Colour or “having your colors done,” I highly recommend! A trained stylist will help determine what colors look best on you based on your skin tone, hair and eye color and other features. This color analysis trend has been on the rise with some of my clients and I can really tell a huge difference! Izzie has changed over her entire closet and is wearing colors that enhance her natural beauty. Analyzing what colors look best on you makes picking out what to wear for your session so much easier, PLUS, wearing colors that help you look and feel your absolute best in your images.
After exploring downtown, it was off to the old trestle bridge north of Livermore where Izzie knew this location would fit in perfectly with her “colors.” And last, we headed to our pasture for some Bridgerton inspired shots and, the main event of her entire senior session, a butterfly release! Izzie absolutely loves butterflies and brought along some Painted Ladies to release as the finale to her session. This was such a fun experience and seeing the joy on Izzie’s face really says it all! Also, earlier this summer, we snuck in a quick mini session in the wildflower field of my dreams with Izzie’s piano. This was the first time I had been out to the field and I instantly fell madly in love with it. I included my favorites for that session below as well. Luckily, this isn’t the first time I have photographed Izzie, as she is a big part of TEAM 25, CBS Senior Spokesmodel team!
Izzie, a Bishop Garrigan High Student, loves singing, playing the flute and piano and anything that involves music. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, spending time with family, or doing both while talking about their favorite vacation spot…Disney World! She also loves reading a good book when time allows. In school, Izzie is involved in band, choir and drama. She has been a part of the Garrigan golf team for two years, as well. After high school, Izzie plans to attend the University of Iowa to pursue a major in Speech and Hearing Sciences with the hope of becoming a Speech Pathologist.
Izzie–I can’t even begin to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and love you’ve shown our children this summer! They’ve had an amazing time with you, filled with laughter, learning, and countless cherished memories! Starting your senior year is such an exciting time, and I have no doubt that you’ll shine brightly in everything you do! Please know that you’ll always have a special place in our hearts and that our door is always open for you!
