{An Emmetsburg High Senior Session at Wild Haven}

When we started planning Addi’s senior session, she mentioned Wild Haven as a location and I was instantly all in! Last summer, I photographed a wedding at Wild Haven and I fell in love with the beautiful landscape. I had never been there before and to my assumptions, Wild Haven seems to be this lovely, illusive location that is invite only. Lovely it certainly is and I am always thrilled to be invited back! Addi is stunning, with an infectious smile and the most intriguing green/blue eyes that hold a hint of hazel in the center. Photographing her is easy. After taking a dip in the pond at Wild Haven, we headed to the nature center to take advantage of the purple and white flowers blooming. As soon as we walked into the field we were body slammed by bugs. This is not an over-exaggeration! I think I had bugs in every opening on my head, haha! We powered through though and it was completely worth it! This isn’t the first time I have photographed Addi, as she is a big part of TEAM 25, CBS Senior Spokesmodel team. Fortunately, I get to photograph her more throughout the season!

Addi, an Emmetsburg High Student, loves being outside, reading, spending time with family/friends and playing with her dogs. In school, she is involved in Student Council, FFA (where she holds the title as President), football and wrestling cheer, competitive cheer, and NHS. Addi has also been involved in several pageants and currently holds the title National Teen Miss Heart of the USA. After high school she plans to attend UNI and become an elementary teacher.

Addi–I’m so thrilled to have you on TEAM 25 this year! Your bright smile and personality really shines through in the group! It takes a special person to guide young minds and I know you will be an incredible teacher with an abundance of care and patience. As you begin your senior year, embrace each moment and make tons of lasting memories. I know you are capable of amazing things and I can’t wait to see your bright future unfold!
