{A Classic, Fall Wedding in Humboldt, IA}

One of my favorite things about my job is when I get the honor of being invited back into another celebration for a past CBS Bride’s family!! I squealed when Mary emailed me exclaiming that she was engaged and that she wanted to be a CBS Bride just like her sister, Abi!! We booked over a year in advance, and I’ve been looking forward to this wedding ever since!

Mary and Austin’s wedding day was full of unique and nostalgic details. Mary wore her mother’s vintage wedding veil and garter, as well as carried a family heirloom bible down the aisle. Austin wore a custom Langel & Woods suit with his name and wedding date embroidered on the inside of the jacket. Although their beloved fur-babies could not be in attendance, Mary and Austin honored them through several details throughout the reception, including a take-home pet treat bar and signature cocktails named after each furry companion. They also decided to opt out of the traditional unity candle ceremony and, instead, went for a whiskey blending commemoration during the reception. There were so many more unique touches I adored like their pumpkin flavored wedding cake, sweetheart reception table and custom engraved rings.

My favorite part of the entire wedding day is watching Austin look at Mary like she was the entire world and universe in one. It is so obvious their love for each other reaches lengths far beyond what many have ever experienced. As of Saturday at 3:00pm, they have begun one of the greatest adventure of their life! I’m so excited for them and for their future!!! I can’t WAIT to show you their beautiful wedding day!
