{A Bright and Airy Sitter Session}

Baby Emersyn came to the studio for her sitter session and brought mama, big sis Oaky, grandma and some beautiful family heirlooms to model with. Her first outfit was a light blue, vintage smocked dress that was her grandma’s dress as a baby! *Swoon* I love, love, LOVE everything about this! I love how pristine the dress was and how perfectly it fit Emersyn. I also LOVE that it was grandma’s dress! We even snuck in a few portraits of Emersyn and grandma with this very special dress. Emersyn also wore a set of pearls that belonged to her great grandma, which was a gift given to her by her new husband on her wedding day. All the nostalgia creating special and timeless moments!

I have been photographing big sis Oaklyn since she was a fresh newborn and I can’t get over how similar Emersyn looks like her! We tried to sneak in a few shots with mama and the girls and as busy as Oaklyn is, I’m surprised at what I was able to get! Oaklyn is a wildly independent and stubborn, I mean, passionate 3 year old that loves to be the star of the show…on her own terms. But baby Emersyn is a DOLL!! So happy and giggly! She only fussed once but after she filled her belly with milk, she was all smiles again!
