{A Recap of our April}

The month of April started out a bit rocky when the stomach bug hit our home. Poor Eden was vomiting and had diarrhea for 5 days straight!! It was a nasty bug for sure, but thankfully we were all healthy by the time Easter rolled around.  Now that Eden and Oren are getting older I realized that only one dozen boiled eggs is NOT enough to dye for 3 kiddos! 😂😂 I literally blinked and they were finished! During Easter break we took the kids to Cutty’s in Okoboji to stay for a couple nights and swim in the pool. They had a BLAST but Oren is still really afraid of the water. I don’t think he has any plans to get into our pool when summer comes. But, we are excited to spend more time at Cutty’s this summer now that we have a membership. After our stay, we made our way back home just in time for Livermore’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Then it was off to Papa and Meemaw’s for our traditional egg dying with cousins! Then, of course, we had our own egg hunt Easter morning. It’s safe to say that the kiddos did not miss out on any egg hunts! 😂😂 We just treasure our time with family!

For the most part, April was pretty laid back. We are so excited for warmer weather and all the fun that summer brings! Until next month…
