{An Early Spring Engagement Session In Algona, Iowa}

Cue the confetti!!! We lucked out and had the most beautiful day so far this month for Brenna and Jacob’s engagement session! Warm and dry, which is so hard to come by in March for Iowa. Brenna and Jacob met while attending college at UNI and have been inseparable ever since. I could tell instantly that these two are head over heels, madly in love! They are so full of joy and excitement for each other and it’s so contagious! We spent their entire engagement session laughing and chatting about their wonderful lives. Brenna is a speech pathologist in West Des Monies and Jacob teaches high school woodworking in Waukee and works at a daycare. Together, they make the most adorable and joyful couple!

Jacob proposed to Brenna in San Diego on a surfing and bungee jumping trip!!! He got down on one knee on the beach during sunset and asked Brenna to marry him. Afterwards, they celebrated at an elegant restaurant with rose petals and champagne! Talk about the most epic and romantic engagement EVER!!!! Well done, Jacob!

The connection that these two have together really made my job so easy! Brenna kept telling me that she is so awkward in front of the camera but I beg to differ! I gave them little direction and they both fell into poses naturally. I know it had little to do with what I said and everything to do with the bond that Brenna and Jacob share together. And I’m pretty sure Jacob is a mind reader! He always knew exactly what I wanted him to do! HAHA!

I CANNOT wait to hang out with these two again come October at the Shores in Emmetsburg! They are so fun and their wedding day is going to be a blast! Enjoy scrolling through SO MANY of my favorites of this charming couple!
