{A Recap of Our January}

January is the month of birthdays! SO MANY birthdays to celebrate in our family! All three of our kiddo’s were born at the end of the month (23rd for Liella and 29th for Eden and Oren) so we get the grandparents and great grandparents together for one big bash every year. I ask my mama to make the cakes because she always creates the most amazing designs. I’m mind-blown every single year with what she comes up with!!! The kiddos just tell her what they want and she just brings the magic! Gosh, I just can’t believe they have all turned another year older!!!! I think 7 and 4 will be such a great age for all three, it’s going to be a fun year!

We kicked off the month with Remi and Hayes’s FIRST birthday! What a crazy, fast year!!!!!!! And what a freaking blessing it is to have these two in our lives and to share in the boy/girl twin fun with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law! We are now all in the same daycare so we get to see them every day. It’s going to be so fun to watch them all grow up together!

Besides a month of birthdays, January is typically a slower month for us which this busy mama loves! I have more weekends off to enjoy with my little family and I use that time to soak it all in. As I watch my babies grow (the twins are no longer in toddler stage but now preschool age 😩) I’m quickly realizing these days don’t last long. I mean, I had always known, but now I am ACTUALLY living through it and experiencing it firsthand. I recognize that my time off with them is more important now than ever. So one of my biggest goals for 2022 to create more intentional time off with family and, believe it or not, as a workaholic enneagram 3 who LOVES her job, I am really excited about it!!
