{An Engagement Session at Thomas Mitchell Park}

I met Katlyn a few years ago as one of my sister’s teacher associates and we instantly became friends! She is so incredibly welcoming and sweet! I got to see her many times at birthdays and other parties that my sis would throw and our friendship grew from there! So I was extremely ecstatic when she announce that her and her longtime boyfriend, Brad, were getting married! And even more excited that she asked me to be her photographer!! Katlyn has such a beautiful smile and is always SO full of joy! It’s one of my favorite things about her! So photographing these two was a blast!

We met up at Thomas Mitchell Park just east of Altoona for their engagement session and, let me tell you, this park is beautiful!!!! An adorable little creek with stone steps leading down into it, plus luscious wildflower fields, it’s definitely something straight out of a fairytale. On top of all that, this couple looks like they should be on the cover of a Sweeplings album. If you don’t know who they are, look them up! You’ll thank me later! 😉 The park was the perfect location for this nature loving couple, but what I love most about them is all the unique aspects of their personalities, including how they chose their adorable little boys names, Roah and Roric. 😍 October can’t come fast enough for wedding day!
