{A Newborn Session}

It’s soooo fitting that I am sharing Miss Scarlett’s images today on the blog! I was planning to do so yesterday but with the snow storm on Monday, I am a bit behind. But it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly! Scarlett carries more than just the luck of the Irish with her but she also has a ton of Irish genes flowing through her veins! Her great grandpa immigrated from Ireland and the Atkinson’s are very proud of there Irish heritage! St. Patrick’s Day is one of mama’s favorite holidays, so when she asked for green in her session, you bet your bottom I was going to have a ton of green for her! 😉 Nevermind the fact that it’s also one of my favorite colors! 🤪 HAHA!

Scarlett was a DREAM to photograph! She has some of the longest eyelashes I’ve seen on a baby girl before and I might be slightly obsessed with them! She’s just gorgeous! I truly enjoyed my time with this family and getting to know them more. We share similar tastes in music and we share similar journeys to parenthood. As strange as it may sound, I always feel so blessed when I can connect with couples over very hard seasons in life. It gives a purpose to the pain and I realize more and more, as time goes on, why we had to go through the journey we did in order to have children of our own. Miss Scarlett is lucky in many ways, but to have these two for parents, she hit the pot of gold!
