{A Recap of Behounek Family Adventures July 2020}

July was full of family, fun and, of course, lots of pool time! We started off the month by going to the Blank Park Zoo on the 3rd with my sister Amber and her family. By far the most favorite part were the seals. It was sooo hot that day that the seal pool was looking pretty inviting HAHA!!! We spent the 4th at home just hanging out and on the 5th (my birthday) we had a mini pool party with some friends. It was the perfect birthday! That next week we got to stay home while daycare was on vacation and I thought it would be the perfect time to start potty training Oren. He picked up on the general concept quickly but we aren’t completely accident free yet. The good thing about living on a farm is that he can run around naked while he learns! 😉

At the end of the week we attended a gender reveal for Joe’s brother, Jonny and his wife Jordan. Their journey/struggle to parenthood is so similar to ours. And now, through it all, they are expecting TWINS!!! But not just any twins, BOY/GIRL TWINS!!! But wait, the story gets better! Jordan is due in January! The same month our twins were born!!!! Such a crazy, incredible, beautiful story! Come January there will be 2 sets of Behounek boy/girl twins running around! Even though the struggle is long and hard and at times unbearable, God will always deliver what you need…and sometimes what you’ve always wanted. But never more than what you deserve. 😉 This month had really put into perspective for me why Joe and I needed to go through the journey that we did…so that we could live this amazing story in the end! God is sooo good!!!

The following weekend we attended the annual Livermore Daze parade where the pounds of candy brought home was much more than the length of the actual parade. HAHA! And finally at the end of the month we held another little pool party with Amber’s family. It was such a fun and memory-making month. Can we put it on repeat??
