{Algona High Senior Session}
Rounding out my 2020 seniors with Sammonte! My first full session since social distancing started with the coronavirus outbreak. We had awesome weather too with warm temps and zero wind! It was sooooo good to get out of the house and start shooting again. I can’t tell you what this session did for my mental health! I have been stuck in the house for weeks on end with 3 little kiddos only leaving to pick up groceries. It was great to have new, human interaction! I definitely miss hanging out with my clients! But don’t worry! We made sure to practice all the social distancing rules!
I LOVE that Sammonte wore a suit for his senior session!!! 😍 He bought a suit to wear to prom but might not get the chance to use it now. On top of that, during his time off of school he’s been bulking up for college football and is quickly outgrowing it! But I’m so glad we got some use out of it for his senior images!!!
Sammonte is active in football and track at Algona High. He can’t wait for college football to begin where he will be playing running back for Iowa Central Community College. He’s running track for ICCC as well, and excels in 100’s and 200’s. He plans to study criminal justice but is true dream is to play football for Ohio State. I’m excited to see where Sammonte’s future will take him and I’m rooting for his draft in the NFL! 😉
To all my 2020 seniors: I can’t even imagine what you are going through right now! I know that some are glad school is over, heck I would be! But I also know that some are sad to be missing out on those last few memories with friends in high school. But there is something wonderful to be learned! Life can change in the blink of an eye. Make the most of your relationships and opportunities now before your chance is over. Don’t take for granted one day because, as we have witnessed, the next day can be lost. All of you will grow so much stronger from this and I know that what you learn from this will provide great tools for your future!
