{Humboldt County Historical Museum Engagement Session | Humboldt County Wedding Photographer}
Christmas is over and it’s back to the daily grind. I hope everyone had a great holiday!! With New Year’s right around the corner, I’m starting to think about what I want my goals for 2020 to look like. I know I really want to start focusing more on weddings and seniors because they are my favorite!! If you would have told me that weddings would be my favorite when I opened my doors almost 8 years ago, I would have laughed in your face! I didn’t want to touch a wedding with a ten foot pole, back then, and I gave everyone that asked a hard no! Now fast forward a few years later and I decided to give weddings a try and it turns out…I really love it!!! I love connecting with the couples and their families and witnessing the emotions between everyone. Weddings are really the only thing I photograph that brings true, raw emotions out and I love capturing it! It really brings so much joy into my heart!
Jeni and Ryan are one of my 2020 couples and I can’t wait for their big day!!! These guys are so incredibly sweet and so stinking cute! The connection they have between each other is just adorable! So full of life and love! We couldn’t have asked for a better December day for their engagement shoot at the Humboldt County Historical Museum. It was sunny and 40 degrees! The museum is a great place to shoot because there is so many rustic and vintage buildings, plus the open field across the street is gorgeous! We had the perfect glow-y sunset light that evening! Jeni and Ryan–the count down is on!!! Enjoy a “few” of my favorites from their session
