{Emily + Tommy | Tampa, FL}
If there is any couple that deserves a happily ever after, it’s 1000% this couple! Tommy and Emily are some of the most genuine and caring people I know! They would give you the shirt off their back, a hot meal, a place to sleep and then some without even blinking an eye! And bonus that Tommy is family…he’s my cousin!!! I was so INCREDIBLY HONORED that they asked ME to photograph their wedding!!! They flew Joe and I over thousands of miles to photograph their beautiful bay view wedding at the Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas! The ceremony looked over stunning bay views during sunset! Um, yes please!!!! Doesn’t get more romantic than that! It’s an opportunity that I will be forever grateful that Tommy and Emily gave me.
The day was definitely not short of any emotion! Family traveled from all over the country to watch this amazing couple join in marriage but there were several that could not attend. One special person in particular was Emily’s dad who passed away a few years ago. Emily’s brothers filled in for him, taking turns walking her down the long aisle on the pier and then finally ending with her step-dad. It was so unique and so special. It was hard to keep a dry eye while she danced with her step-dad during the father/daughter dance. There was even a very emotion-filled special dance with her brothers and then eventually ending with Emily’s mom stepping in. I love when special dances are filled with such raw emotion because I am able to capture the true love and relationships between these people. Personal gifts and messages throughout the day really made this day so special and exclusive to Tommy and Emily.
Congratulations Tommy and Emily!!!!! I have always thought of Emily as apart of our family but now it’s official! I couldn’t be more excited for you two, from now until forever!!! Enjoy your wedding day from my perspective!
Go USF Bulls!
Tommy seeing his bride for the first time. You know there is something special about this couple when even the groomsmen can’t keep the tears from rolling.
Go Bulls!
First time for me when a cake cutting has turned into a cake smash! Haha!
When the groom has some epic dance moves!
A special shot for Emily’s dad.
