{An Anniversary Session}
My uncle and his wonderful bride are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year! Visiting Iowa from New York, they came a couple weeks ago for my cousin PJ’s wedding (remember that gorgeous wedding with the cathedral length veil and the Monte Carlo? You can find the blog post here). We decided to squeeze in an anniversary session to celebrate this great milestone!
After 10 years it’s obvious these two are still so much in love. I didn’t even have to ask them to kiss in front of the camera they just did it naturally! They were so willing to hold hands and get close to each other without little direction from me. Whenever I ask married couples to get together just for one portrait I get a blank stare and some sort of comment like, “We haven’t touched in years!” HAHA! But not these two!!!! They dedicated a whole portrait session to their love and I truly admire that! And what better way for them and their family to look back on these images and rejoice in the relationship that they share together! Thankfully they were willing to walk out to the cattle pasture for this session! Watch your step! HAHAHA!
Uncle Sean & Kim–The love you two share together is definitely something many couples should look up to and look forward to as they push closer to those milestone years. Thank you for letting me capture just a small portion of it! I pray your love endures all the ages!
Much Love, Carissa
