{A Four Year Old Children Session}
My sweet baby girl, Liella! The one who made me a mama bear. She is four years old and such a girly girl. Our days consist of lots of dresses, cute outfits and, of course, tons of necklaces, bracelets, hair bows and makeup try-on sessions. When we’re not playing dress-up, our favorite princess movies are on constant repeat. We discovered the movie Leap on Netflix about a year ago and ever since she has been obsessed with all things ballet. This is no surprise because she has always loved to sing and dance. Last November we took the obsession to a whole new level when we decided to enroll her in Tiny Ballet at Energy Dance and Tumbling Co.
In addition to the girlishness, she also enjoys all things Halloween and likes to watch kid “scary” movies. She’s a Play-doh fanatic. Her favorite foods are mac and cheese (of course), vegetables and all things chocolate. Books are a big thing in our house so we read one every night before bed. But what I love most is her wild imagination and her passion for playing with toys instead of playing with the iPad.
Something Joe and I love to do is create nicknames for our kiddos and Liella has had quite the list of ever changing names.
*Sugarshoe
*Chuggerchew
*Chugs
*Wawa (how she said Liella when she first started talking)
*Wawanator
Some more recent ones
*Bugga
*Bugsta
*Bugsta Boo
*Squirrelly
*Squirrelly Girly
*Squirrelfriend
The last 6 names we use on a daily basis. I know we are weird. It’s ok. Haha!
Last year she stepped into the roll, seamlessly, as big sister to not just 1 but 2 babies. A huge change but a title that has always been in the cards for her. She loves to play with Eden and Oren and she doesn’t hesitate to share her toys or her room with them. She defends and supports them and I’m sure within the next year the three will become partners in crime. Haha!
My dear Liella, I hope you always keep your passion for life and fun. I hope your imagination and creativeness never runs dry. And I pray your love and heart only grows as you grow. I enjoy watching you learn and grow but I hate it at the same time because I know it’s only a matter of time before you will not be my wild little girl anymore. But I know one day you WILL move mountains.
Much Love,
Carissa
