{An Early Fall Wedding at River Valley Orchards}

An absolutely gorgeous September day, a beautiful setting, and two people who are completely, madly in love! Ryan and Cassie’s wedding at River Valley Orchards and Winery was pretty much perfection from beginning to end!

The venue was dressed in gorgeous blue and white florals with chic rustic touches throughout…wood, deer antlers, and a cowhide rug that made an appearance both on the ceremony floor and later as a reception photo backdrop. It was the perfect mix of beautiful and relaxed, just like Ryan and Cassie.

The tears started flowing during Cassie’s father-daughter first look, but when it came time for Ryan and Cassie to see each other, the mood quickly shifted to their favorite combination: laughter and joy. These two are so incredibly laid-back and fun, and you can’t spend much time around them without seeing just how much they genuinely love being together. Afterwards, Ryan and Cassie read their vows to one another privately. Away from the crowd, they had the opportunity to share their promises with one another in a quiet and incredibly heartwarming moment before the ceremony.

We then wandered through the gorgeous gardens at River Valley Orchards for portraits, soaking up the beautiful weather. There are so many beautiful little pockets for portraits on the property, the scenery is in abundance and the grounds are very well kept.

But one of the most meaningful parts of their day was their ceremony. Their pastor intentionally intertwined Ryan and Cassie’s story into his message, including a metal dagger cross he created specifically for them. He connected Ryan’s work as a welder with Cassie’s work as a certified medical assistant, drawing a beautiful parallel between her work drawing blood and the blood Jesus shed on the cross. It was such a thoughtful and personal reminder of their faith and the story God is writing through their lives.

The rest of the evening was exactly what you would expect…tons of laughter, celebration, and time surrounded by the people they love most.

Ryan and Cassie, thank you for inviting me into this season of your lives! Your wedding day was pure perfection and the joy you two share radiates far and wide! It was such an honor to witness and capture the beautiful love you share!
