{A Downtown Algona and Yellow Flower Field Senior Session}
There’s something captivating about the way Addy carries herself…subtle, sweet, and completely natural. She doesn’t have to try too hard or put on a performance; the camera just seems to love her! Whether she realized it or not, what struck me most was the quiet confidence she carries. What made her session even more special was the full-circle moment for me. Her mom was my high school cheerleading coach, and a couple of years ago I had the honor of photographing her brother’s senior portraits. To now capture Addy in this exciting season of life felt like such a gift!
Addy’s session consisted of a few studio shots, exploring downtown in her cute, but casual loungewear, and ending at a gorgeous yellow flower field at sunset. One of my favorite parts of her photoshoot was when Albert, her cat, made an appearance for his modeling debut. The way her eyes lit up when she saw him and posed for photos together said it all…he’s clearly such an important part of her world.
Outside of being an Algona High School Senior, Addy spends her days working as a lifeguard, hanging out with friends, and sneaking in time for video games or her favorite shows. She’s choosing her own path forward with confidence and plans to graduate early this fall! From there, she’s considering becoming an esthetician…a career that fits so perfectly with her love for beauty and her gentle, thoughtful nature.
Addy, you are such a joy to photograph! You have this graceful presence that draws people in without you even realizing it. As you step into all that’s ahead, never forget how much light you carry. The world needs the unique beauty you bring just by being yourself, and I have no doubt you’re made for incredible things!
