{A Winter Onederland Cake Smash Session}

Abigail started her one year session a little timid and unsure. She didn’t know whether to like me or to be afraid. Mama is her very best friend, so, at the beginning, there were a few moments of needing comfort and reassurance. Once we moved to the second outfit, Abigail’s true ham personality came out and the smiles were endless! I adore her open mouth grin and big blue eyes! When it was time for her cake smash, Abigail had more interest in the balloons than the cake! It took her a little bit to figure out how delicious the frosting was and after a few claps and smiles, she still loved the balloons more! HAHA!

Now that Abigail has officially graduated from baby’s first year signature collection, it’s a little bittersweet knowing I won’t be photographing her as a baby anymore. It’s been such a pleasure to see those big blue eyes at every milestone! My only hope is that I will get to see her again someday with her sweet, little family.

Happy First Birthday Abigail!! You are just like a little flower—at first, you take your time to bloom, but when you do, the world gets to see just how beautiful, bright, and full of joy you truly are. Your laughter, your smiles, and your sweet spirit make every day a little more magical. Keep shining in your own special way, Abigail!
