{A Newborn & Family Session | Iowa Newborn Photographer}
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more smiley baby in my entire life! At a little over 7 weeks old, Beau was constantly smiling during his newborn session! And, not only in his sleep, but also with direct eye contact!!! Completely unheard of for a baby that’s not even 2 months old! I was impressed, to say the least! As well as ecstatic to capture such a happy baby for this sweet family. Older sister, Mackenzie, is a #CBSbabe alumni and, I know I constantly say this and I will always continue to say this, it’s such a gift to see returning families come through my door! I adore this family and am thrilled to see them growing with happy, healthy babies!
I typically photograph newborn sessions within the first 2 weeks after birth for a number of reasons but, of course, I will never deny anyone the experience if your baby is a little older than the recommendation. Normally it’s hit or miss on whether an older baby will sleep through the session, and in Beau’s case, he certainly did not sleep the entire session. In fact, he only slept for just a tiny portion while he was wrapped in a swaddle. What we lucked out on was having such a happy and content baby that knew exactly how to work the camera, HAHA! Plus those eyelashes are absolutely swoon-worthy! He’s so talented already…Baby Gap—get this kid a modeling contract! HAHA!
Welcome to the world, Beau! You are already so loved and bring so much joy with your bright smile and happy heart! You have the most wonderful family—a big sister who will be your first best friend and two incredible parents who love you more than words can say! May your days always be filled with laughter, cuddles, and endless love! You are a beautiful blessing, and the world is brighter with you in it!
Haha! Loved this little furrowed brow look!
