{Revisiting My Favorite Family Portraits of the Year}

As we round out the Best of 2024, I’m introducing a new category to the recap, FAMILIES! So far we have revisited  Best of 2024 Weddings, Best of 2024 Engagements, Best of 2024 Seniors, and Best of 2024 Babies, and now I’m THRILLED to share my favorite family portraits of 2024! My number 1 goal when it comes to family photography is to draw you into the REAL moments and affection shared between family members. I love a gap-toothed, oversized grin or a strand of hair blowing in the wind. I love, LOVE all the parts of you that are natural and beg not to be contained. How you truly interact with your children and your spouse is what I long to capture in your photographs. Emotions, love, life–they are not perfect but they’re incredibly beautiful. You could say my specialty is turning, what seems to be chaos, into lasting memories. Those are the kind of images you’ll find below. You won’t find any stiff poses or frozen grins. Just pure JOY and LOVE. PLUS, kiddos love the fun games we play together! 😉

This year, I have felt like I have truly hit my stride when it comes to family photography and capturing the goals that I set to achieve.
