{Revisiting My Favorite Senior Portraits of the Year}

What. a. year. for seniors! Today I am reminiscing on the Best of the Best seniors images I have captured throughout 2024, and this year was incredible! With almost 20 seniors, each unique in their own ways, this post is a long one! This past year was full of more gorgeous flower fields (including having access to the flower field of my dreams!), more vintage trucks, tons of musical instruments, fun new locations and BUTTERFLIES! I channeled my inner Swiftie with TEAM 25 (CBS Senior Spokesmodel Team) and created a fully styled shoot that even queen Taylor would be proud of! We also did our own take on the classic Iowa vs Iowa State rivalry earlier this spring, and, of course, TEAM 25 kills every shoot I’ve created for them!  I know I say this every year but, I’m not sure how I’m going to top that for next year…..but I may have a few things up my sleeve! 😉 I want to give a special shoutout to West Vendee, Soma Med Spa, Cultivate Family Shop, and Innovations Salon & Spa for working with TEAM 25 this year! Without them none of my visions could ever come to life! I am truly thankful for the amazing small businesses in our community!!

Going back through my work each year reminds me that I still love my work as much as I did when I first captured it!
