{An In-Home Family Session}

I rarely ever blog family sessions but I just loved this one so much I had to share! The location, the outfit choices, the family! It was all perfect and I’m so grateful for a chance to meet this sweet family!

Carrie reached out to me recently wanting family portraits in their new home they custom built a year ago. In-home sessions make me a little nervous because often times homes are dark with very little natural light to work with. But, when Carrie mentioned new home, I instantly knew there would be a chance for tons of natural lighting, since newer homes are installing larger windows and doors these days. Neutral colors, clean lines, natural materials and textures, minimal obstructions and, of course, an abundance of beautiful, natural lighting is what made this location work. The Arndorfers were so welcoming and patient with me working through every favorite room/space in and around their home. Throughout the session, I could tell they are so excited to create a lifetime of memories in this home! Thank you so much for inviting me over and I’m so grateful to have captured this special season in your lives!
