{An Iowa Pasture Engagement Session}
A bit of a full circle moment photographing Myra’s engagement images! I photographed her senior photos 6 years ago, very pregnant and about 1.5 months away from delivering Eden and Oren! Now’s she’s engaged and about to marry her high school sweetheart, Kevin! I remember her senior session very vividly because I loved that she wanted to incorporate her love for camping. We pitched up her tent at Call Park and had the most beautiful December weather an Iowan can ask for. Now she’s sharing her love for adventure with Kevin! Fittingly, Kevin proposed while on a backpacking trip in Wyoming. At the end of a long, hard day, he surprised her with a gorgeous view and a gorgeous alexandrite ring! How can a girl say no!?!?
Their entire engagement session was spent exploring our pasture. The lighting this time of year is SO magical and I never get tired of the beautiful glow from the sun as it’s slowly setting. These two are so incredibly calm, classy and content just being together. I loved capturing how much they love each other. They both easily fell into each pose as if they have done this before. It made this session such a breeze and it makes me look forward to their wedding day next month!! I feel so honored I get to be there to capture the day! Enjoy scrolling through these images of a beautiful September evening with these two lovebirds!
OBSESSED with the glowy lighting in this image!!
Loving the composition in this one!
