{A Late Summer Grass and Flower Pasture Senior Session}

School has started and summer may be slowing down but the sessions are at an all time high over here at CB Studio! I have been shooting non-stop in this season and I’m loving every minute of it! Blaire’s senior session last week has been one of my favorites of the summer and I love the vision she had in mind. Trap shooting, old truck and a white fence in a grassy field was her exact words on the questionnaire she filled out in preparation for her session. These statements were just the kick in the butt I needed to get a few old, rustic white picket fence panels up in the pasture that had been laying around for years! And, of course, we know old trucks/cars are not hard to find around our pasture. For the first time, I was finally able to use my favorite one of the entire fleet, a teal and white old Ford! Blaire looks fantastic in this teal color! We ended her session in the wildflower “field of my dreams,” where the flowers are starting to see their final days of the season. But the sunset in this field is still so unreal! Blaire is incredibly beautiful, a sweet and quite soul, and a true natural at posing! Luckily, this isn’t the first time I have photographed Blaire, as she is a big part of TEAM 25, CBS Senior Spokesmodel team! Can you believe she did her own makeup for this shoot!!!!! Another talent to add to her already impressive list!

Blaire, a Bishop Garrigan High School student, enjoys thrifting and trap shooting. In school, she is involved in trap shooting and loves to spend her free time going to concerts and watching sunsets. After high school, Blaire plans to attend college for a general education degree then traveling to study holistic and all natural medicine.

Blaire–it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you this year and watching you thrive in front of the camera! In some ways, you remind me of myself when I was younger. The resemblance, knowing exactly what you want out of life (even if it’s slightly different than the norm) and willing to take the road a little less traveled to achieve it. This road might seem unpredictable and maybe even a little crazy, but it’s also filled with opportunities that only people brave enough to think differently will encounter. The best success stories come from those who are willing to go against the grain from what is expected. You’re not here to live someone else’s version of a good life. You’re here to carve out your own. I can’t wait to see what you will create!!!
