{A Recap of Our January}
Reeling from a busy holiday season and then we are immediately thrown into 3 January birthdays! Honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way! As a full-bred summer girl through and through, I have come to love Januarys because the celebrating continues. The first few months of the year are slower for Joe and I so it’s nice to have the time to properly celebrate our favorite little nuggets. The years are picking up with more and more speed as each one passes and all three kiddos add a plus one to their ages. We celebrated with grandparents, tie dye and Squishmellow cakes and, of course, way too many presents. We also took the them to Fort Frenzy for the first time during a professional development day and we had the whole place to ourselves! It was the best way to spend a cold, no school day. Liella is still talking about it to this day! But I came out as the biggest winner by hitting the 500 spot on the Whack to Win game on the first try! Whoop, whoop! Shoutout to Aunt Jordan for giving us a couple of gift cards to use! This month we also had a make-your-own-pizza night to try out Joe’s new wood-fired pizza oven he received at Christmas. I didn’t get a shot of the oven in action but what kid doesn’t love making their own pizza!?!? Definitely a meal added to the rotation!
As we make the most of these cold and dreary months, it’s always on the forefront of my mind how fleeting these years are. I simply cannot get enough of these days and I pray they never end.
Until next month…
