{Winter Senior Session at Water’s Edge Nature Center}
Remember that time, back in November, when I said I photographed my last senior session of 2023? Well…I was wrong, HAHA! Sierra came to me recently to book a last minute senior session before the year ended! The weather this winter has been so mild that her and I both didn’t mind strolling through the nature center for majority of her session. Finding color this time of year is TOUGH! The landscape seems to be dull and dreary, but with the help of West Vendee’s adorable outfits, Sierra definitely popped against the background. Sierra recently moved to Iowa from Texas and is settling in nicely. She’s even on the cheerleading squad at Algona High School. As someone who moved to many different schools as a child, I know it can be hard to fit your place in a new school and make friends, but Sierra seems to be making a good mark in the world already!
Sierra, a 2024 senior from Algona High School, loves gymnastics and dance. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends. In school, she keeps herself busy with cheerleading. After high school she plans to attend college in Utah and become a veterinary.
Sierra — As a senior, you’re stepping into a year filled with opportunities, growth, and new experiences. This is your chance to shine and create lasting memories. Remember, you are not defined by the challenges you face but by how you overcome them. Approach each day with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. I hope this year is your best one yet!!
