{A Fall Iowa Pasture Engagement Session}

The cuteness level on these two is completely off the charts!!! I photographed Shelby and Taylor’s engagement session 6 days ago, and with my busy fall schedule, I am finally getting these images featured on the blog today. As I was thumbing through their images, it instantly took me back to this day where the joy between them just radiated! I just couldn’t help but smile the entire time I was editing! Honestly, I gave them very little direction in posing as they both were so enamored with each other. I absolutely LOVE couple likes this because it give me a chance to play paparazzi in the woods! HAHA! I love capturing them as their love shines naturally.

Half way through the session, Shelby asked me what my favorite thing to photograph was. Honestly, it’s so hard to pick a favorite because I truly love to photograph it all. It’s like having to choose a favorite child, it’s impossible. I love everything for different reasons. But my absolute favorite thing to photograph is not necessarily a particular subject, but instead, capturing emotion. This is what really makes my heart soar. Couples like Shelby and Taylor really give me all the feels inside because of the joy and love that emanate between the two. These two have me so excited for their wedding day!!

Taylor and Shelby, wow! You’re good at this!!! I can’t wait to capture your modeling skills on your wedding day next year! Ah!! I feel so honored that I get to be there to capture your day!
